Happy 106th birthday

Dr. Seuss! You were the greatest child's story author of all time, and little did any of us know when we were young, that your sentences and pictures would ring true no matter how old and jaded we became. Here is a collection of some of my favorite quotes from my favorite stories. There are literally hundreds of great ones to choose from, but these are a little bit more political minded. Dr. Seuss was a great man, far too advanced for our current times.

"Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not." The Lorax

"A person's a person, no matter how small." Horton Hears a Who

"I know, up on top you are seeing great sights, but down here at the bottom we, too, should have rights." Yertle the Turtle

"So be sure when you step, Step with care and great tact. And remember that life's A Great Balancing Act. And will you succeed? Yes! You will, indeed! (98 and ¾ percent guaranteed) Kid, you'll move mountains." Oh, the Places You'll Go!
