the best day of the year

is tomorrow. And obviously it's not my birthday, its the championship game of the uefa champions league. it is definitely considered one of the most prestigious awards in all of football, and its even more awesome because my all time favorite team, FC Barcelona, is playing another top 5 in Manchester United. While barca do have quite a few injuries, as well as suspensions, this match promises to be one of the greatest matches my 24 year old eyes will witness. Barca make playing football look like an art. Their effortless one touch passing spans the entire pitch in seconds, making it seem effortless. With some of the greatest footballers in the world (Iniesta, Henry) and some of the greatest upcoming (Messi, Eto'o) they are just a sheer joy to watch. Man U are no slouches either, definitely leaning more towards the gracefull side of football compared to most English Premiere leaguers. They are definitely way more physical then Barca, but it should probably bring tears of joy to my eyes, from both sides. I can only hope that Barca will take the cake, but either result will satisfy, I'm just waiting for some glorious football.
